About Hanna Kroeger
Hanna Kroeger devoted her entire long life to helping thousands of people throughout the world. Hanna Kroeger was born in Turkey in 1913, the daughter of German missionaries. As a young woman, she attended nursing school at the University of Freiburg in Germany. Later she assisted Professor Brauchle at a large hospital in Dresden, which primarioy used natural healing methods. It was here that she began to discover many amazing ways to restore health using herbs, special diets, baths, massages, etc. Hanna's discoveries came from a combination of study and experimentation, as well as her own intuition.
When Hanna arrived in America in 1952, She opened one of the first health food stores in this country. The more adventurous of her customers would try some fresh carrot juice, almost unheard of in 1958. By the '60's Hanna's business was booming. Soon people began consulting her about health questions and her reputation as a healer flourished. She gained popularity both with natural healers and medical professionals. Hannah was a pioneer in the development and awareness of alternative health and natural foods who opened the door for many practictioners and health businesses.
Hanna has written more than 20 books ranging from general home remedies to books on special diets, herbal and vitamin references, cookbooks, and more. Hanna lectured extensively throughout the country until her death in 1998.
